Experience
To be short in writing, my experience with the Russian language comes primarily from two consecutive years that I spent living in Ukraine, speaking only Russian. I learned from the very best; from the natives themselves by total immersion. I gained a great passion for the language and culture of Russia, and really want to share that with other people. For the greater portion of my time in Eastern Europe, I taught people the English language, and taught many Americans Russian, and I can confidently say that I know how to teach someone a second language. I've had much success with my students, and know that anyone that puts in the time with me will find themselves speaking crisp, clean, fluent Russian sooner than they had expected.

Hobbies
I really enjoy traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures and people, and at the same time I really love my home state of Oregon. I love all sports, and enjoy active and outdoors. At the same time, I am a little bit of a nerd and from time to time can be found watching a Star Wars movie, or reading a fantasy novel. I spent 3 years as a competitive boxer (I love the movie Rocky!), and lately have enjoyed playing Soccer. Learning languages is a passion of mine; it's my goal to be fluent in English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, and Arabic. I'm a dreamer.
