Education
I graduated from Oregon State University in 2014 (3.71 Overall GPA) with a bachelors in Mathematics (3.61 Major GPA) and Physics (3.66 Major GPA). The physics program there really emphasized critical thinking and problem solving over following a recipe and I would love to share that wisdom with others.
Experience
I was a TA at OSU six different terms for PH 201, PH 203 and PH 213. This included running lab, grading some assignments, proctoring exams, and holding an office hour where any physics student could get assistance. I learned a great deal about communicating physics and problem solving strategies (much different than just knowing how to do them) and enjoyed the position a lot. I also participated in the Discovery Days event as much as I could and ran a booth where K-5th students could learn about physics through cool demos such as the Van der Graaf generator and spinning "Moment of Intertia" chair.

Hobbies
I love getting together with friends and playing board/card games whenever we can all juggle our schedules together, anything from simple card games to involved and lengthy board games are a ton of fun when you have the right people. If the weather is nice and I have a large amount of open time I really enjoy going for a long drive. We have a lot of great highways here and I take advantage of that as often as possible. If there isn't enough to time make a long road trip, sometimes a nice walk outside can also fill that role. My family has always had a lot of pets and right now I live with my sister so they are still a big part of my life, I just have a guinea pig myself though.
