I have an undergraduate degree in civil engineering, along with a certificate in accounting. I tutored for over five years, helping college students in French and math, and working with students from the pre-K - 12 level. Before each session, I will give a brief overview of the lesson, discuss the concepts, and provide examples before stepping into practice problems. I let students work through problems on their own, providing guidance along the way. I also adapt my approach for each student based on their learning style. My goal is to help students build a better understanding and become confident in their abilities. I also want students to have fun and be engaged in the sessions so that they are motivated to keep learning. I believe students must enjoy the subject to learn successfully. When I have free time, I like to read, watch movies, hike, shop, and babysit.
